Makin Off "Without Light, the Dark" Makin Off

Tired of studying (and furious with MSN) I put here to "get even" with [info] hikaruryu ^ ^ posting the answer to your richiestan making off the fanfiction meme .

Making Off "Without Light, the Dark"

There are many ways to start a fanfic: sometimes you can not simply do without it and do not wish nothing but the ambitious plan a reality in your mind and take the word, form and feeling through your hands.
"Without light, darkness" (Slib) is born.

How many fanfic I wrote years ago, comes from a self-imposed challenge: to write something angst that revolved around autumn.
At the time I did not know how to move, I did not even want to write something new, given the deluge of fanfic WIP impressive that I was dragging behind by a year in that part.
While I tried to close that idea for a less "intense" I knew a person.
This person (I will call S.) was going through a bad time and when she learned that writing fanfic, I asked to read something of mine.
enough rest to read any of my production and very embarrassed for the stylistic level at which I presented myself, I refused flatly.
S. not persisted and worked few days later. The operation, unfortunately, did not go successful and S., when he wakes up, he felt even more down. Unable to give them more that my support and my presence, I lost what little common sense rimastomi and I went to work to give birth to a little fanfic for her. Thus was born
Slib: no claim other than to give a pastime in S. tell of imperfect people who, in an imperfect world and in an imperfect way, try to be happy.
is devoted to her that Slib, she and her desire to fight.
it to him I read a preview and only later, when I saw her face come as surprise, happiness and excitement, I published. To share a parable of life.

Writing it makes me happy and sad at the same time.
I'm happy because it's a fanfic that expresses the will to fight, realism and seriousness. I wrote a lot of fanfic on multiple topics, on different situations, but I've never written on something so difficult to treat as blindness or a serious problem like this (except for "Flores amiss, but you, my little girl, damn, we'll talk another time.)
I was really proud of myself when I got reviews of "admiration" of the sensitivity adopted to deal with the issue.
And that was the real victory.
There were many failures, unfortunately.
Every time I write a chapter of Slib I do absolutely driven by inspiration - otherwise I could not just write anything! - Except in some cases: the arguments and confrontations. My weaknesses. I know. I admit it.
The quarrels and confrontations are fast moving scenes, which should give almost entirely through dialogue, where the description should be missing. Here, as in the past few months I'm rereading Slib for editing, I realize my big weakness.
mean, I know I'm too talkative as I write, but my style does not know the simplicity of immediacy. Another

my weakness?
names.
names I do every damn time.
Harold? Gary? Middle West? Lytton?
There's an explanation - and when ever there is not one? XD -: they are fixed. Yes, yes, I'm really obsessed with their names. The
My unhealthy fixation, I admit with some satisfaction, resulting in the frenzied search for meaning. This does not have to be that, for each name, I took a book that explains the different etymology and robi! Imagine! XD I love doing research, but with the names I go much lighter! In this fanfic
names are all derived from nature combined with the sensations. I mean, inventing new characters (OC) I never think what they should do but see them as the protagonists .
So, inspired by Harry Crawford family a warm sense of family and therefore have caught the names of more "common" (eg, Richard is the name of the typical "boy scout", Dana is taken from an Irish legend and it looks like Lily Evans), is the placid lake, quiet and peaceful, Middle West, the gossipy neighbor, is the whistle wind, always looking for a way to enter into the secrets of the neighborhood, Gary is the usual bully-wing, the mischievous wind. Lytton, however, comes from the name of a writer, Edward Buwler Lytton, who wrote on the Rosicrucians. At the time I was reading it I was doing up there and laugh, so, at the height of despair, that poor child has caught the strangest name.
More names, however, there are the titles. Ah yes, those are my first true obsession. No chapter is published unless it has an appropriate title (except two or three chapters whose titles made me despair UU).

Question fairer than obvious: where does the title of the fanfic "Without Light, The Dark"?
Well, the mystery (?) I have published so far revealed in the penultimate chapter ("Poison and Ambrosia, 30 ° Cap): How many times

Draco had repeated to love him?
During those long moments neither spoke like an eternity much, not what you said you loved it, ever. Because there was no room for the simple confession that would have almost made it less exclusive then, deciding to let their actions speak eloquently. Each
their gesture was part of a dance incredibly charming, sweet and touching: it was mutual and deep understanding, exploration was, it was incumbent upon the intrinsic passion of a loving, had a swollen river swept them away, and despite the intensity ; of that jet left them standing still to be invested by the continuous jets.

Love, love, love ...
A long-sought, long denied, Now you're in my arms, now you're with me, now you're my world.

Only when they were under the covers, still kissing, you still said that they loved.
- Harry, Harry ... you're my everything, love ... you are my love ... -
Harry smiled kissing the lips of those salted Draco: - Without light, darkness ... the darkness is no longer so afraid -

Just to level a not-so-secret-secret ... UU

Like all my fanfic, Slib has a particular background, and in this case, is made by nature. The entire deck revolves around the fall of fanfic, and even if the change of seasons with the snow and winter are great space, but autumn is the season of dominance.
It may indeed appear as a metaphor for a rebirth as this fanfic covers the time frame of one year (oops, spoiler! XD), but the main reason is much less noble and learned: Autumn is my favorite season and every time I go into the woods, whatever the season it is, it's autumn I think. And the smell.
'm crazy, Sisi.

better not say any more, otherwise there is a risk that you begin to make a spoiler and go-go is not no fun.
Not that there is much to be spoilers, since the end of the fanfic was completely deviated from the original idea.
